About Romina Kamran
Romina Kamran is an FMC-accredited family mediator and Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) based in England & Wales. She founded The Family Mediation Project as a free educational resource for separating couples who want to understand their options.
Background
Romina holds a law degree and qualified as a family mediator in 2024. She is accredited by the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and works as a Professional Practice Consultant, supporting other mediators through professional supervision as part of the FMC's accreditation framework.
What she does
Romina conducts MIAMs (Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings) and full family mediation sessions, including online appointments. Her work covers child arrangements after separation as well as financial matters such as property, pensions and savings.
Why this site exists
The Family Mediation Project was built to help people understand mediation, MIAMs and the family court process in plain English, so they can decide what is right for their own situation. It is an educational resource — not legal advice, and not a sales page.
